Changing a Device Placeholder Value

To change a device placeholder value:

1.

Open the Manage Devices Placeholders page (Setup > Configuration > Devices Placeholders):

Use the 'Filter' field to quickly find a specific device if many are listed. You can search for a device by its name or by its extension

Select the device whose placeholder value you want to change and click Edit.

Make sure the correct device is selected; the read-only 'Device' field is filled.

4.

From the Key dropdown, choose the phone configuration key.

5.

Enter the device's default value in the 'Default Value' field, and then click Save; the edited device placeholder is added to the table.
